What counts as an electrical emergency?
Burning smells, sparking or hot outlets, a buzzing or hot panel, water in electrical equipment, loss of power to part or all of the building when the neighbors still have it, and any breaker that trips instantly on reset. If there are flames or smoke, leave and call 911 first.
My power is out. Do I call you or the utility?
If the whole street is dark, call the utility. If it is only your building, or only part of it, call us for electrical repair.
Why are my lights flickering?

Panels, breakers and wiring
How do I know if I need a panel upgrade?
A full panel, frequent trips, a fuse box, a 100 amp service with new large loads, or a warm or rusted panel are the usual signs. Read about electrical panel upgrades.
Why does my breaker keep tripping?

Is old wiring dangerous?
